Our program offers practical work experience in a business environment, with the opportunity to contribute and add value to the organization.    We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team for the summer of 2026. This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects that push the boundaries of mechanical design and automation.   As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op, you will:

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Must be available to work on-site at our North Reading location.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with metalworking is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of new tester solutions, including PCB automation, in-circuit test fixture technologies, and sophisticated blind-mate connections.
  • Work on projects that support liquid
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions.
  • Assist in concept generation, prototype development, and detailed design using CAD tools.
  • Lab upgrades, system rework and modifications for prototyping
  • System problem troubleshooting
