About The Position

Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer – Intern to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Intern to assist with the design, analysis, and testing of aerospace components and systems. The selected Mechanical Engineer – Intern will have responsibility for the following areas: Shadow key personnel within the mechanical engineering department. Support mechanical testing of products. Help with the fabrication and assembly of prototypes. Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work. Learn the responsibilities of an engineer. Perform other duties, as assigned. Requirements

  • Individual working towards a degree in mechanical engineering or another related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience/classes with electrical systems preferred.
  • Active clearance preferred.
