Mechanical Engineer, Intermediate – DLR Group, Inc (Phoenix, AZ). Manage, with assistance from Project Manager/Project Engineer, all aspects of the project document development and coordinating with project team members to produce quality work product while adhering to project schedules; participate in the design process of mechanical building systems and prepare detailed and mechanical engineering design calculations and drawings to code; and, collaborate with project manager to support client needs and maintain financial health of the project. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or closely related field
  • 4 years’ experience in an MEP firm working on commercial/ public projects
  • Proficient experience in: Revit; Bluebeam; AEIP Software; design techniques, tools, and sustainable design principles involved in producing precision technical plans, drawings, reports models, and related deliverables; acoustic design; and, designing HVAC building systems on complex projects
  • LEED certification
  • Professional Engineer License in AZ

Responsibilities
