About The Position

Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms. At Saronic, the systems that keep our facilities running — from climate-controlled manufacturing environments to complex process utilities and industrial piping — are just as critical as the autonomous vessels we're building. We're looking for an experienced, licensed mechanical engineer to take ownership of the mechanical infrastructure that supports our most demanding operations. This role offers real breadth and real ownership. You'll define company-wide standards for HVAC, plumbing, process utilities, and piping systems, and you'll apply that expertise across the full capital project lifecycle — from early programming and scope development all the way through field commissioning. You won't be a passive reviewer; you'll be the internal authority that shapes how our facilities are designed and built, and the go-to expert that third-party engineers and contractors look to for direction. Industrial mechanical systems are complex, and we know it. If you have experience with specialty exhaust systems, emissions abatement, or the nuanced interplay of ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, and NFPA requirements in a manufacturing or industrial setting, you'll find plenty of technically interesting problems to solve here. And if you're energized by the idea of building something from the ground up — standards, systems, and teams — this is the right environment for it. If you're a PE with a strong industrial background who wants high ownership, technically rich work, and the chance to make a lasting impact at a company on the cutting edge of maritime defense, we'd love to connect.
