The position requires the person to work onsite at our locations in Liberty and Greenville, SC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related discipline or an associate's degree with experience from accredited program (ABET/EAC)
• 3 or more years of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• Experienced with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)
• Familiar with most applications of the standard engineering discipline principles, practices, and procedures and can apply them independently
• Possesses effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel overnight and internationally up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Acquires basic knowledge and develops skills in a specific practice area
• Applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment
• Exercises limited judgement on details of work and in application of standard methods for conventional work
• May review the technical output of team members as directed

• Assists with client, customer, or official contacts and communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings
• Narrow and limited exposure to enterprise engineering problems
• Relies on experience and judgment in addition to guidelines, procedures, and instructions to accomplish tasks
