About The Position

Collaborate closely with technology and operations teams to define requirements for industrial automation systems and translate them into functional designs Responsible engineer for the design and development of mechanical systems from conception to production Create models, drawings and specifications Work with cross functional stakeholders to derive requirements, set goals and ensure effective communication Ensure designs meet requirements for tolerances, functionality and safety Utilize rapid prototyping to iterate and refine designs quickly

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
2-4 years of experience designing industrial automation equipment, mechanical structures, or mechanisms
Proficiency in CAD, including GD&T application, tolerance analysis and drawing documentation
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in NX CAD software and experience with PLM systems
Experience with robotics and electrical system design
Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods and technologies
Hands-on experience performing structural FEA analysis using ANSYS, ABAQUS, or similar tools
