US Valve is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our Engineering team. We manufacture high-performance check valves assembled in our Linthicum, MD facility, serving critical applications across industrial, commercial, and specialty markets. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is passionate about improving systems, supporting internal stakeholders, and driving quality. The ideal candidate will serve as a key contributor to our QMS, production and purchasing support, and special engineering projects. This position is scoped for someone with leadership potential, capable of growing into a future leadership role.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software and ERP systems (Solidworks and Oracle JDE preferred).
  • Familiarity with QMS systems and audit processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-15 years of relevant engineering experience
