The Fire Suppression Design Engineering team is looking for a developing Mechanical Engineer to join our us in Wilson, North Carolina! You will participate in the development, modification, integration, qualification, certification production support and field support of aircraft fire extinguishing/suppression systems and components for military and commercial applications. Our devices include pressure vessels, pressure monitoring, flow metering, and pyrotechnic cartridge actuators. You will work with existing and new application designs and product improvement, defining design drawings, testing, evaluation and data packages. Work may also include R&D for new technologies to maintain the company’s position as a leader in the industry. Your ability to work in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary teams with effective communication and attention to detail for timely project execution is imperative. Familiarity with pressure vessels, machined part drawings and specification, weld specifications and/or mechanical assemblies is preferred.
