About The Position

In this position, you will be on the front lines providing support for our customers and educating the Rivian community on our continuously growing products and services. You will be a leader in driving our customer service philosophy. The opening will be located at our Normal, IL facility and reports directly to a Service Supervisor.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Experience designing mechanical parts at the interface of electrical components
• Experience designing to thermal and structural constraints
• Professional experience with at least two CAD packages
• Professional experience with at least two of Injection molding, Casting, Brake press sheet metal, and stamping
• Ability to think around corners and come up with creative solutions, while still working with high levels of engineering rigor

Responsibilities

• Working to improve the quality and reliability of our existing charging network
• Works directly with our supply base to take on board feedback and improvements for our Charging components
• Aids in the development of new Network Charging products
• Performs other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the position
