About The Position

Parsons Corporation is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with experience in Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) to provide engineering support for Facilities Design and Construction projects for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. The role involves overseeing design and construction, conducting technical analyses, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8 or more years of experience in the Mechanical Engineering field.
• 3 or more years of experience working with EMCS.
• State of Utah Professional Engineer registration.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and integrated software applications.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred, or willingness to process for this level of clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mechanical Engineering support for Facilities Design and Construction projects.
• Analyze technical issues and review technical documents.
• Perform field inspections and develop technical papers.
• Independently develop and supervise the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.
• Define problems, establish work scope, prepare budgets and schedules, and plan work.
• Provide technical direction and report work status.
• Create detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design and installation packages, proposal evaluations, and technical reports.
• Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and lower-level Engineers.
