About The Position

The Mechanical Engineer I position develops and improves products or designs through a process of conceptualizing, developing prototypes, testing, and implementation to manufacturing to customer specifications. Work may include creation of previously non-existent products or modification of existing products, including line extensions. This position works closely with more senior engineers to use established procedures to complete tasks with detailed instruction.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering or Design
• Strong mechanical design aptitude
• Strong literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
• Interpersonal and mechanical aptitude necessary to deal effectively with a variety of departments

Nice To Haves

• Pro/E modeling and detailing experience
• Familiar with current GD&T standards

Responsibilities

• Designs product to meet all requirements
• Manages multiple projects at one time
• Produces drawings, assists in prototyping, manufacturing, quality, and planning as required.
• Acts as technical expert for the company for both customers and employees
