About The Position
Enterprise Engineering, Inc. has one position available for a Mechanical Engineer to be filled at either the South Dakota Office in Sioux Falls or the Alaska Office in Anchorage. Are you a recent graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree that likes to travel? Do you like working in teams of cross-functional engineering disciplines? Curious to learn more about design and repair of fuels systems? Can you climb and/or crawl into large fuel tanks, with an interest in staying awhile to inspect the structure? If so, we have a unique opportunity for you! Job Summary As a Mechanical Engineer I (aka Engineer-In-Training or EIT), the position assists in the preparation of engineering and design documents under direct supervision. Applies basic knowledge of engineering and construction materials related to engineering evaluation and design in collaboration with other engineers or project managers. Works with engineering teams to assist in the evaluation or design of various project aspects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Passed or working towards passing the Engineer in Training (EIT) Exam.
- Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.
- Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and internationally.
- Working towards obtaining professional licensure.
