In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in and lead engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities. This specific position will focus on: Design and construction activities, including project delivery methods such as traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build Designing HVAC and plumbing systems for primarily HyperScale and Colocation Data Center design associated with administrative and support spaces Supporting additional areas such as Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers/Air Compressors, and Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage Conducting Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces Conducting energy audit/efficiency studies, code review/application, and sustainable design/LEED application of sustainable strategies Developing engineering skills while working on challenging projects The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for Black & Veatch's 3 market sectors - Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Technology, Commercial, & Industrial.
