This opportunity is a full-time position for a motivated individual with the ability to work and learn with the goal of acquiring a Professional Engineer license. Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited engineering school. Candidates with experience or education in HVAC will be prioritized.
Experience: new graduate or early career Design Professional; Prior intern experience in HVAC and building systems is a plus but not required.
License/Certification: Have taken and passed, or intent to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam to obtain official Engineering Intern designation.
Experienced in 3D modeling software, Revit preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is desired.
Must be able to collaborate with other team members in a professional environment and have good interpersonal skills
Must be able to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
Must be able to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to engineering detail.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Climb ladders and work off of elevated platforms and open grating.
Wear personal protective equipment required for specific clients and sites.
Pass drug screening tests and background screening, required for some client sites.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with and assist senior engineers with entry-level mechanical engineering tasks.
Assist with mechanical design of building systems to include plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, fire protection, building automation, and industrial process systems.
Work in a team setting with mechanical team members and multi-disciplines teams including Electrical, Structural, Architectural, Interior Design and Civil.
Work on a variety of mechanical projects across our market sectors. Common projects include government facilities, healthcare, industrial, commercial and education facilities.
Produce construction drawings using Revit 3D modeling software.
Assist with performing onsite construction administration and construction observation services, including reporting and monitoring contractor's compliance with contract documents.
