About The Position
The Mechanical Design Engineer position in Atlanta, GA involves applying intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices for HVAC and plumbing design in the Commercial, Healthcare, and Education markets. The role includes performing a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor, with increasing responsibility based on performance. The engineer will consult with the supervisor to screen assignments for unusual or difficult problems and select appropriate methods and techniques to apply. Additionally, the engineer will provide the supervisor and project manager with scope of work change warnings, may write portions or all of the specifications as needed, and perform design work using Revit AutoDesk. Coordination of work with other disciplines is also a key responsibility. Travel is required for this position, and a valid driver's license is necessary.
