As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to be part of our Cold Rolling Works Maintenance team in Calvert, Mobile County, Alabama. Additionally, Outokumpu business area Americas has a commercial office in Brazil. The purpose of this position is to evaluate, implement and monitor processes and operating systems for the manufacture of Stainless Steel. The Mechanical Engineer’s primary focus is the continuous improvement of the reliability and mechanical systems at the Cold Rolling Works Facility. Define opportunities for improvement, measure key parameters, analyze the acquired data, implement the chosen solution, and control the process to verify the optimization and efficiency.
