About The Position

Responsible for project support of the mechanical effort on Oil & Gas projects including: Compressor Stations, Meter Stations, Pump Stations, Pipeline Installation, Natural Gas Processing Plants, and Central Gathering Facilities. Responsible for working directly with fellow members of the mechanical engineering team & mechanical design team for project execution support. Ability to travel to support field work activities (including site commissioning). Engineering experience including: P&IDs, Process/Hydraulic Calculations, Engineering Evaluations. Ability and willingness to take direction from senior staff and ask questions to ensure quality deliverables. Review & preparation of line lists & equipment lists. Review of project isometrics to make sure they comply with project requirements set forth by the client. Ability to effectively communicate within project team to resolve project issues. Work with Mechanical Engineering team for successful execution of projects while continuing to learn and develop.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • EIT and/or PE license valued.
  • Knowledge in the design of mechanical engineering systems for heavy industrial plants.
  • 3+ years of Oil and Gas industry experience in midstream and/or upstream.
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
  • Customer service oriented with a passion for high customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
