Mechanical Designer Part number creation and maintenance. Bill of material creation, configuration, and maintenance. ECR & ECN processing. Act as a technical resource for North American operations. Component drawing creation (2D and 3D as needed). Communicate with corporate headquarters to resolve issues beyond the scope of U.S. Design Engineering. Define our product offerings via proposal drawings. Modify existing product for adaptation to customer specific applications. Create certified drawings and additional technical support documentation. Assist with establishing internal processing methodologies for repetitive orders. Other duties/projects as assigned.

  • Other duties/projects as assigned.
  • 2-year A.S. Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Mechanical and 3D modeling required
  • Solid understanding of GD&T
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Clear and efficient communication with internal and external customers
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at a desk for up to 10 hours per day.
  • SolidWorks experience preferred
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is preferred.
