As a Full Time Mechanical Designer at VAL-CO Industries in New Holland, PA, you will be pivotal in delivering innovative mechanical designs and drawings that effectively communicate project concepts. Your role encompasses developing and maintaining a high level of technical expertise for assigned products, ensuring compliance with established Engineering procedures for design, document control, and drawing accuracy. You will support various engineering projects by assisting with equipment testing, modifications, and preparation of product manuals, while also engaging with vendors to foster collaboration. Your proficiency in design software will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records of project work, calculations, and time investments. To excel as a Full Time Mechanical Designer at VAL-CO Industries, candidates must possess a solid foundation in mechanical design principles, underpinned by a two-year technical degree in Design or Drafting, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 years in mechanical design or drafting is essential, showcasing a comprehensive grasp of proper drafting procedures and document control principles. Proficiency in design software is crucial, as you will be responsible for creating accurate designs and drawings that reflect innovative concepts. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to maintain precise records of project work and calculations. Requirements

Two-year technical degree in Design or Drafting or equivalent experience and knowledge.
2+ years’ experience in mechanical design or drafting.
Possess understanding of mechanical design principles.
Possess understanding of proper drafting procedures.
Possess understanding of document control principles.
