About The Position

Creates electromechanical layouts, packaging, fixtures, tooling, and mechanisms. Works with technology development, product engineering, suppliers, manufacturing and quality group to define specifications and complete the full design cycle. Creates documentation and conducts design reviews in support of design efforts. Collects data, analyzes results, generates reports, and provides recommendations. Contributes as required, in the design, analysis, prototype build, software or process development, evaluation, and complete bottom up product documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with and understanding of machining and sheetmetal fabrication processes
• Expert-level CAD user
• Strong user of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Understanding of GD&T and drafting best practices
