In the role of Mechanical Designer/EIT, we'll count on you to coordinate mechanical aspects of commercial or institutional projects, perform routine mechanical engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures, write and edit mechanical specifications, and select mechanical systems and devices. You will utilize engineering software to develop HVAC loads, energy analysis and size/select mechanical equipment, prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design of buildings, including drawings, specifications and reports, assist in the development, production, and issuance of BIM documentation, using the necessary Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, work independently on small projects, and/or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects, supervise work of Mechanical CAD Technicians, and coordinate design of assigned projects with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines. You will also take responsibility for construction contract administration requiring shop drawing review, request for information (RFI) review, field inspections, and conflict resolution, and perform other duties as needed.
