About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Lead to drive mechanical design activities for electromechanical products, particularly in circuit breaker and power distribution equipment . The role requires strong leadership, hands-on design expertise, and ownership of end-to-end product development.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Creo .
Strong working knowledge of Windchill PLM .
Proven expertise in electromechanical product design .
Solid experience in circuit breaker design or power distribution equipment .
Experience leading mechanical design teams or projects.
Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFA.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in mechanical design for electrical / power products.
Experience in Schneider Electric product environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design activities from concept to production.
Develop and review 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs using Creo .
Manage product data and change processes in Windchill PLM .
Provide mechanical design leadership for electromechanical products , especially circuit breakers.
Perform design reviews and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Coordinate with electrical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
Drive design optimization, cost reduction, and manufacturability improvements.
Support prototype build, validation, and production release.
Mentor and guide junior design engineers.
Ensure adherence to Schneider Electric and industry design standards.
