About The Position

Are you a visionary mechanical engineer ready to shape the backbone of hyperscale infrastructure? This role is your opportunity to lead cutting-edge design and engineering efforts that power our hyperscale and base business customers. What You'll Own As the technical cornerstone of our switchboard engineering group, you'll: Spearhead mechanical engineering strategy and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and exceed expectations. Lead conceptual design development tailored to customer needs and factory capabilities. Oversee system engineering activities, translating complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions. Champion design quality, reviewing engineering drawings and ensuring flawless production readiness. Serve as a technical mentor and manager, guiding a high-performing team and fostering career growth. Drive continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce cycle time. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve factory and field service challenges with agility and precision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of Custom Order Engineering experience
  • Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years managing people
  • Must be able to work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and take initiative to solve problems
  • Demonstrated ability for problem solving using logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support customer and manufacturing requirement
  • Understanding of UL891, ANSI and NEMA Standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the application and manufacturing requirements for electrical assemblies
  • Leadership experience in a high accountability culture and metrics driven environment.
