About The Position

NOVA Automation is seeking a skilled, energetic, and reliable candidate to fill the position of Mechanical Design Engineer. You need to be passionate for designing our robotic automation and packaging systems. This role is at the forefront of developing our automation products.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
6+ years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years’ experience of SolidWorks, SolidWorks PDM.

Nice To Haves

AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test new products and product improvements, including cost reductions, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
Perform drawing releases to production and provide support with engineering layouts to our Engineering team and our customers.
Use SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM and have experience using both software's.
Produce specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components to be used in production.
Collaborate with the Quality Department, Electrical Department, Sales Department, Assembly and Fabrication Department, and Customers. Collaboration with other engineers and provide feedback to production floor employees and improving drawings as needed.
Work in an R&D and flexible environment that is fast paced and can focus releasing drawings sets to production quickly and adapting to new ideas.
Develop equipment layout designs for existing and potential customers.
Follow company policies regarding safety and conduct.
