Mechanical Design Engineer -Process Development We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Process Development team. Successful candidate will: Use CAD tools to simulate, test and document new process tooling and fixtures. Create detailed specifications for new manufacturing equipment. Conduct, document and track design reviews. Generate project plan and document per Engineering Department procedures. Participate on and lead teams as required. Generate preliminary estimates for Capital Investment Plan. Conduct Stack-up analysis, be familiar with DFMEA, and Cpk/Ppk/Gage R&R.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree from a four-year colege or university required, with 3 years minimum Engineering experience within an automation-manufacturing environment
  • CAD systems (Solidworks preferred)
  • GD&T
  • tolerance analysis (stack-ups)
  • DFMEA’s
  • Candidate should possess analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong PC skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to manage difficult situations and be able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
