We have an opening on the shock design team in Boonville, Indiana focusing on aftermarket motorcycle products . Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years’ hands-on experience in component and mechanical system design & development, preferably in motorsports , motorcycle , or automotive industr ies .
  • Possess a motorcycle license, along with significant riding experience .
  • Experience with fabrication equipment, parts installs on motorcycles, creating proto-type parts with lathes and mills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO) and showcase knowledge of CNC machining processes and material science (a plus).
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles.
  • Excel in communication and collaboration, thriving in a team environment where your contributions are valued and acknowledged.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to Legend Suspensions ’ plan t in Sturgis, South Dakota.
  • As a requirement for this position, all applicants must be eligible to work in the United States. Candidates must possess proper work authorization documentation in compliance with applicable federal laws. Please note that sponsorship for employment visa status is not available for this position.
