Potential for additional responsibility depending on experience and demonstrated success in therole. Develop and modify mechanical designs using Creo, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering standards. Apply basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to support design intent and manufacturability. Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and internal partners to support design development and resolve technical issues. Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve product quality and performance. Support analysis activities, including FEA using Creo Simulate, to validate design integrity (as applicable). Assist in the design and development of steel or iron cast components, considering manufacturing processes and constraints. Contribute to APQP activities to support product quality and successful production launches. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and provide practical engineering support during prototyping and testing phases. Manage individual tasks and deliverables to meet project timelines and deadlines. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and technical requirements. Demonstrate initiative by proactively identifying opportunities for design improvements and process enhancements. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering AND 2-4 years’ of relevant work experience REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficient in Creo Understands basic geometric tolerancing Proficient in Creo Simulate FEA Experience in steel or iron casting design APQP knowledge Practical / hands-on experience Strong mechanical aptitude SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong initiative Effective verbal & written communicator Can manage individual tasks to meet deadlines Open to input & feedback from others Works well with other engineers, suppliers, and internal process partners Eagerness to learn new things

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering AND 2-4 years’ of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Creo
  • Understands basic geometric tolerancing
  • Proficient in Creo Simulate FEA
