About The Position

Ideal candidates will have Creo and vacuum experience. Initial tasks will be to design and integrate some fairly complex vacuum vessels into an existing system.

Requirements

• BS Mechanical engineering degree from ABET Accredited college
• 5 years + mechanical design engineering experience (lesser years of experience with a concentration in vacuum design will be considered)

Nice To Haves

• MS Mechanical engineering degree from ABET Accredited college preferred
• Vacuum mechanical design experience preferred.
• CREO experience is preferred but not required. Other 3D modeling software experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Will be performing FEAs on vacuum chambers and must be familiar with FEA modeling and analysis.
• Will be responsible for developing calculations on vacuum chambers, torque calculations, bellows, lifting calculations, and comparing to code requirements (applicable ASME codes).
• Will be responsible for providing input into the vacuum specifications.
• Will be responsible for providing technical review of the drawings and providing markups to be consistent with the technical design.
