About The Position

You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOFGLSS) team. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge mechanical solutions that enable warfighters to succeed in the most demanding environments. What You Will Be Doing As the Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing modifications to military vehicle and aircraft platforms that directly support the warfighter. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop detailed 3‑D models and engineering drawings for vehicle and aircraft modifications. Perform structural and thermal analyses to validate design performance. Coordinate prototype fabrication, testing, and iterative redesign cycles. Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration. Document design decisions and maintain configuration control in accordance with program standards. Requirements

  • Experience with 3D parametric modeling in CATIA, SolidWorks or similar software.
  • Experience with creation, review, and approval of engineering change documentation
  • Experience creating ANSI/ASME Y14.100 compliant drawings
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an aerospace environment.
  • Experience with Catia V5, Creo, SolidWorks or other 3D parametric modeling program.
