Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 0-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with strong ability to learn / adapt
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes CAD software to design new products and make improvements to existing products
  • Works with engineering / manufacturing team members to ensure designs are technically and economically feasible
  • Creates drawings and engineering specifications for products to be manufactured in Andritz facilities as well as outside vendors
  • Travels to customer sites to obtain necessary technical information and measurements for equipment design projects
  • Travels to customer sites to assist with installation and provide support
  • Travels to customer sites to assist in chip quality testing & consulting
  • Create designs in line with company procedure and client standards / regulations
  • Provides technical support to internal teams and customers
  • Works under the supervision of Engineering Manager
