About The Position

You will be the Mechanical Engineering Designer for the Air Dominance Evolutionary Development Block 1.1 Program team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing detailed designs and layouts of missile structures and subassemblies, driving innovation and excellence in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university, preferably in an Engineering field or related discipline with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or no experience required with a related PhD
• Knowledge of GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5
• Experience creating drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 standards
• Skilled at creating/releasing CAD parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings via Creo/Windchill
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

• Previous Lockheed Martin and/or Missile program experience
• Ability to support limited travel as necessary

Responsibilities

• Developing and generating CREO layouts and detailed drawings for ICDs, components, sub-assemblies, AURs, and integration test articles
• Building BOMs, creating parts, assemblies, and design documentation within Windchill PLM
• Coordinating with the IPT team, suppliers, GSC, electronic packaging, and structural/thermal/material analysts to ensure design excellence
• Managing drawing releases, answering CRs, generating CN's, and presenting/supporting change boards and design reviews
• Performing design trade studies to evaluate cost, weight, and structural/thermal benefits
