At Lockheed Martin’s Moorestown, New Jersey location, our Launchers Engineering Team within the Sensors, Effectors, and Mission Systems (SEMS) organization develops advanced mechanical systems that support naval and missile launcher technologies. We are focused on designing, building, and delivering high-performance launcher hardware that operates reliably in demanding environments, enabling critical defense capabilities for our customers. In this role, you will contribute to the full mechanical design lifecycle of launcher systems and related hardware, including: Conceptual and detailed design of mechanical parts and assemblies for launcher systems. Development of engineering drawings and technical data packages supporting manufacturing and integration. Execution of trade studies to evaluate design alternatives and optimize performance, manufacturability, and reliability. Support for prototype builds and transition to production hardware. Collaboration with cross-functional teams during fabrication, assembly, and system integration. Investigation and resolution of hardware discrepancies during build and test activities. Preparation and presentation of technical updates to internal stakeholders and external customers.
