In this role, you will use mechanical design expertise on complex components for
aerospace gas turbine engines and power generation systems. This position
supports the next generation of military and commercial platforms.  The primary
functions are to design complex components, create 3D CAD models, create 2D
drawings, create and track drawing changes in Teamcenter, prepare and deliver
design reviews, and document work for internal records and for regulatory &
customer consumption. The design tools are Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
Interacting closely with project managers and analytical teams are important to
meeting project deliverables and milestones. Listen to internal customer’s needs
and support the organization in reducing cycle time and improving quality of
deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design engineering.
• Uses broad knowledge of engineering discipline, processes, and tools to complete different project subtasks.
• 3D/2D CAD software to prepare design and engineering drawings.
• May interact with internal and external customers and team members to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.
• Responsible for ensuring subtasks are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
• Update or modify working methods in own role based upon defined procedures.
