The Mechanical Design Engineer I is responsible for the structural, interior, and mechanical research and design of aircraft interior and structural modifications. This role involves performing research to determine the best methods for aircraft modifications, designing new mechanical parts and assemblies, and producing engineering documentation to support these modifications. The engineer will also provide technical support during manufacturing and installation, interface with various stakeholders, and ensure safety practices are followed throughout the processes.
