About The Position

The Mechanical Design and Engineering Technology Adjunct position at Lakeshore College involves providing high-quality instruction in mechanical drafting and design, utilizing industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CREO. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Two years (4,000 hours) of recent relevant occupational experience.
  • Teaching experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
  • Experience with Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational experiences for learners in various delivery formats.
  • Facilitate learning of diverse students and assess student performance.
  • Develop and maintain current/relevant course materials.
  • Communicate with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members.
  • Develop curriculum, including learning activities and assessments.
  • Work with curriculum coach to ensure state and Lakeshore design requirements are met.
  • Teaching/training in business and industry may be assigned.

Benefits

  • $45.00 per hour - Per Adjunct Faculty Salary Schedule.
