About The Position

In the role of Mechanical Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications. You will perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures, complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables, work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects, give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed, and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, and equipment selection software).
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in architectural engineering with Mechanical emphasis.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
  • Healthcare, Science and Technology and/or Civic facilities experience.
  • Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required.
