About The Position

The Mechanical Constructor at Snohomish County PUD #1 is responsible for the troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and preventative maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic equipment related to the production of power at hydroelectric projects and other generation facilities. This role is critical in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of the district's energy generation capabilities.

Requirements

• Four (4) years' experience as a Journeyman Hydroelectric Plant Mechanic or equivalent experience.
• Valid Washington State Driver License with a good driving record.
• Valid Washington State Class A Commercial Driver License required within six (6) months from start of job.
• First Aid, CPR, and forklift certification required within six (6) months from start of job.
• Unrestricted respirator clearance required within six (6) months from start of job.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Perform repairs and installations of equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all related machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
