As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you'll lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all mechanical construction activities for large-scale data center projects. You'll have the opportunity to manage contractors, drive compliance with safety and quality standards, and keep schedules and budgets on track. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams, you'll ensure that critical mechanical systems—such as HVAC, chilled water, and cooling infrastructure—are installed, tested, and commissioned to meet Microsoft's rigorous standards. Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine behind Microsoft's cloud, building and operating the infrastructure that powers experiences for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries. As part of our U.S. Government Air-Gapped team, you'll help deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies that enable Microsoft's dedicated online services for the U.S. Government, advancing critical federal missions with uncompromising security, reliability, and scale. While our U.S. Government dedicated datacenter development team is sharply focused on serving government customers, you'll be backed by the reach and resilience of CO+I's global portfolio knowledge base delivering 100+ datacenters and millions of servers operated by world-class experts. If you're driven by mission impact and thrive at hyperscale, this is where your work directly strengthens national capabilities—safely, securely, and on a global scale.
