Interns will work full-time hours during the summer. Job Purpose The Fluid Conveyance team, part of the NAFTA Mechanical Commodity group, is responsible for managing cylinders, hoses, tubes, and fittings that support CNH's NAFTA product lines. The team plays a critical role in ensuring that these components meet cost, quality, and delivery targets while supporting product development and manufacturing operations. As a Mechanical Commodity Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in supplier management, sourcing strategy, and cost analysis, directly supporting CNH's global supply chain initiatives.

  • Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and evaluating supplier quotes to support purchasing decisions
  • Participating in sourcing decisions by analyzing supplier capabilities, costs, and risks
  • Contributing to the development of sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity
  • Collaborating with the Fluid Conveyance team and other supply chain functions to align supplier recommendations with product and business needs
  • Supporting day-to-day activities that drive cost reduction and operational efficiency within the commodity group
