About The Position

As a Mechanical Clean Operator, you will be responsible for manually polishing tube assemblies in preparation for Penetrant Inspection and Anodize using shop tools that meet the customer and STEICO drawings/specifications created within the documented manufacturing processes provided by STEICO.

Requirements

• No experience necessary will train on the job, however any type of metal or wood fabricating is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assess parts to be polished for imperfection.
• Polish parts using manual tools such as buffer and bench grinders.
• Aqueous clean parts after they have been polished.
• Measuring of wall thickness for compliance using calibrated tools.
• Communicate with lead any issues or delays.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.
