The CFD modeling function is an important function of the Swanson Rink Mechanical Design Process. Swanson Rink is looking for an experienced mechanical CFD engineer who wants to couple their passion for building design with the analysis of CFD modeling to ensure our projects meets client requirements. As part of our mechanical engineering solutions, Swanson Rink uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to robustly calculate worst case scenarios and optimize design. These include predictions of airflow and thermal gradients within the indoor space, as well as assessing potential impacts on outdoor equipment of local weather data including wind velocity profiles and direction, solar heat gain, and psychrometric functions in the outdoor space.
