Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.   The student in this position will be exposed to all aspects of defining, designing, and releasing of Qorvo’s Mechanical CAD designs. A guided process will be utilized to ensure accuracy, and consistency. Our internships provide you with all training needed to complete your assignments.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Some experience with SolidWorks, AutoCad, 3D CAD Modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Developing mechanical designs and Assemblies from concept to fabrication backed by thorough engineering analysis.
  • Designing test sockets and test fixtures as needed.
  • Participating in design reviews with hardware and product design teams
  • Using a standard process to find the root cause of issues and identify opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
