About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in a CAD design role, with proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including mechanical piping systems, pumps, and filtration equipment
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for mechanical systems
• Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings for mechanical piping systems, pumps, and filtration systems using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to refine concepts and meet project goals, particularly for pool filtration and associated systems.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to ensure all designs align with client requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct design reviews, simulations, and calculations to identify potential improvements and ensure design integrity for piping and pump systems.
• Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and assist with sourcing components related to mechanical systems and filtration equipment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success from start to finish, particularly in designing and integrating mechanical systems for pool applications.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices related to pool filtration, mechanical piping, and pump systems.
