The Assembler performs intuitive and design-based assembly of custom designed industrial equipment. Multi-skill flexibility is a requirement to effectively respond to situations as they develop. Essential Functions Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools Performs any mechanic-type functions, using hand or power tools Operates forklift as required. (training available for this function) Performs related duties as needed by supervision Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. The employee is often required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and crouch. Types of tools that you will be using include, but not limited to: Belt Sander Drills Rivet Nut Gun Grinders Fabrication Skills Saws Rotors The ability to Multi-Task is essential. T he employee must regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 40 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Required Education and Experience No specific requirement for a diploma or degree from technical institution or equivalent experience, but they are desired and considered.
