The Mechanical Assembler will perform light to complex mechanical assembly and electronic assembly tasks as assigned. This includes the repair, assembly or disassembly of various devices, with some hand soldering required.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and electronic assembly tasks.
Use tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, power drills, and rivet guns.
Conduct quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
Inspect and test completed units.
Interpret process instructions, blueprints/drawings, and schematics.
Adjust and grind down parts if necessary.
Position and fasten units to assemblies and subassemblies.
Fasten cables and wiring.
Solder electrical components.
Work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
Test finished products.
Requirements
High School Diploma.
High level of communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
Minimum 2 years experience in the machine and equipment manufacturing environment.
