  • Ensure product quality meets IPC-610 workmanship standards and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules with Lead.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the names and mechanical appearance of various electronic components and materials.
  • Possess a working knowledge of electronic acceptance criteria, e.g. ANSI/IPC 610.
  • Interpret bills of material, standard procedures, written assembly instructions, assembly drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the proper use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, tweezers, wire cutters, mechanical presses etc. as they are needed to prepare components for assembly.
  • Assemble the components into electronic units, and rework assembled units by adding or removing components.
  • Other duties as required in the Manufacturing department.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability and dexterity to effectively use basic assembly hand tools.
  • Ability to use magnification aids when required.
  • Work at a steady pace under close supervision.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Prior assembly and soldering experience is desired.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, distinguish colors, and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Use fingers or tools to perform one or more repetitive assembly operations to produce small light weight products or components.
