About The Position

We make an extraordinary product. Some might say it defies gravity! As our Mechanical Assembler, you’ll be the one who creates these gravity-defying products. You’ll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by: Following standard operating procedures and staying within job safety parameters Preparing and assembling Seakeeper sphere sub-assemblies, utilizing build stands, overhead hoists, and various hand and power tools Assembling and testing parts/components efficiently within the allowed time standard by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies Maintaining quality standards and making adjustments when necessary to produce products within specifications Verifying components by measuring and visually inspecting completed components; reject and immediately report products outside test and quality specifications Tracking daily production and job time utilizing electronic scanners where applicable Communicating clearly with shift supervisors, as well as assemblers on other shifts Checking and maintaining material and tool inventory Anticipating needed supplies and notifying the supervisor for placing and expediting material supply orders Completing standard production and quality forms as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly with a strong mechanical and/or electrical background
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Possess quality focus, sound judgment, and decision-making
  • Ability to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally
  • Stand or walk for extended periods (8–12-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces
  • Perform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping
  • Use hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision
  • Visually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements
  • Distinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear
