About The Position

FINAL ASSEMBLER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform mechanical assembly operations according to documented manufacturing procedures such as Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, and work instructions. Must be able to read and interpret blueprint drawings, BOMs, wiring schematics, and associated procedures. Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with “wrench” type work Identify and correctly use various hand tools including but not limited to: Standard ratchets and wrenches, pipe and crescent wrenches, drills and impact drivers, pliers, vise-grips, and cutters Self-inspect and evaluate the quality of products before forwarding to the next step in the fulfillment process CRITICAL FOR FINAL ASSEMBLY as this is the final step before shipping the finished product to our customer(s). Other duties deemed necessary to support the Company's business operations, (ie. Service and Repair and/or other cross-trainable departments within the shop) Perform work at or above pre-established performance objectives Keep the work area clean and organized Follow work direction and training provided by higher level personnel Actively participate in the Company’s continuous improvement efforts by identifying and communicating basic process improvements. Ability to work well in a team environment Flexibility and willingness to adapt to frequently changing priorities/tasks Proven reliability -- attendance and punctuality! 50LB max lifting requirement and must be able to bend repetitively and stand for extended periods of time ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Gripping with hands/fingers, reaching, fine dexterity and motor skills for efficient and regular use of basic hand and power tools and assembly of small component parts. Operation of equipment and machinery such as overhead cranes and/or forklifts (training provided). Remaining alert to surroundings, specifically when operating equipment and/or machinery. 50 lbs max lifting requirement (cranes available for use for any lifting that exceeds 50 lbs). Must be able to reason and partake in critical decision making. Attention to detail and concentration towards task at hand. Frequent bending/ twisting/ turning Frequent and extended periods of standing required

Requirements

  • Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with “wrench” type work
  • Proven reliability -- attendance and punctuality!
  • 50LB max lifting requirement and must be able to bend repetitively and stand for extended periods of time
  • Gripping with hands/fingers, reaching, fine dexterity and motor skills for efficient and regular use of basic hand and power tools and assembly of small component parts.
  • Operation of equipment and machinery such as overhead cranes and/or forklifts (training provided).
  • Remaining alert to surroundings, specifically when operating equipment and/or machinery.
  • Must be able to reason and partake in critical decision making.
  • Attention to detail and concentration towards task at hand.
  • Frequent bending/ twisting/ turning
  • Frequent and extended periods of standing required
  • 2-3 years assembly and/or mechanical/manufacturing experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Some hydraulics and/or other power transmission systems experience preferred
  • Some 12 volt electrical systems experience preferred
