About The Position

Our customer has a Mechanical Assembler job available. This is a three month contract due to a medical leave. Essential duties and responsibilities Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies and sub- assemblies using basic hand and power tools Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation Rework/repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes Perform work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision Perform other duties and projects as assigned Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Basic computer navigation
