About The Position

We are hiring Mechanical Assemblers in the Binghamton, NY area. What You Will Do Operate hand and power tools for mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electronic assembly Receive required parts and follow step-by-step diagrams and work instructions to assemble or reassemble low mix/high volume sub-assembly components Visually inspect your work prior to the next operation and make adjustments as needed Follow standard work procedures to complete tasks accurately and efficiently Teardown, clean, repair, rebuild, and reassemble previously built assemblies as required Use a computer system to monitor inventory levels and notify a supervisor of shortages Stack and move materials according to safety procedures Operate overhead cranes/hoists and lift trucks to move heavy materials (as required) What We’re Looking For At least 1 year of stable work history Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic What Sets You Apart Mechanically inclined Experience using manual and power hand tools Previous assembly, manufacturing, or related experience Schedule Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Overtime is based on business needs, which may include Saturdays. Compensation & Benefits $19.26 per hour Sick time accrued based on hours worked Paid holidays Participation in company events and activities This is a temporary position with potential opportunities for regular full-time employment based on performance and business needs. #IND1
